Verifying Stops (Fix Incorrect Addresses)
It’s imperative to have correct addresses before building routes.
Verifying each stop prevents wrong pins, bad routing, missed deliveries, and wasted drive time.
Tip: Never assume an address is correct unless you verify it on the map.
1) Open stop details
Click the stop name on the left.
Stop information will appear on the right side so you can confirm the address fields.
2) Check address fields carefully
Confirm the address is in the correct fields.
Common mistakes include zip code in the city field, missing country code, or street entered in the name field.
3) Show the address on the map
Click “Click here to show address on map”, then zoom in closely.
You’ll know instantly if the pin is on the correct road or location.
Example: Verify the street name
In this example, the street name is Ridge Rd.
Zooming in shows the pin is on the correct road — confirming the stop is valid.
You can also verify stops from the Routing map
In the Routing (Bing) page, click Stops, zoom in, and visually verify every location before building routes.
