Create an Excel Stop List

Importing stops from Excel is the fastest way to load address lists into TrackRoad. It reduces manual data entry and helps you build routes for multiple drivers quickly.

Best for: 20+ stops, daily routing, multi-driver operations, and teams importing stops from spreadsheets.

Why import from Excel?🔗

Importing stops from an Excel spreadsheet helps you plan routes faster and reduces errors. Instead of typing stops one-by-one, you can paste or upload a list of addresses and optimize immediately.

  • Reduce manual entry time
  • Import large address lists quickly
  • Create routes for multiple drivers in minutes
  • Improve accuracy and consistency

How to format your Excel file🔗

Create a spreadsheet and enter your stop addresses starting in cell A1. Do not add a header row — your spreadsheet should match the import format exactly.

Important: If your spreadsheet includes headers, stops may fail to import. Your file should resemble the example image below.

Create routes for multiple drivers🔗

You can repeat the import process for each driver:

  1. Import the first driver’s Excel file
  2. Build and print the route
  3. Import the next driver’s Excel file
  4. Repeat until all drivers have routes

Ready to import and optimize?🔗

Upload your Excel list, optimize your route order, and reduce driving time with TrackRoad.
